Piston Ring Compressor 1600 Engine

There is something immensely satisfying about having the correct, specialized tool for every job!

These anodized aluminum ring compressors allow you to easily and gently insert pistons into liners for final assembly. They are engineered for each piston's particular bore size, and their tapered design is much gentler on piston rings than "band-type" compressors. The ring compressor is positioned on top of the liner, and the piston is inserted into the top of the compressor. With light lubrication, the piston will usually slide into the liner with just finger pressure - no tapping needed!
