Forged 2000 Piston Set, .5mm Overbore, 10.5 Compression
Add compression and give your performance 2000 engine a useful displacement increase with these forged, high-compression pistons from Wiseco.
These beautifully-made pistons are manufactured in the USA from high tensile strength alloy and include an exclusive, low-friction coating on the piston skirts. They feature a 10.5:1 compression ratio with a 84.5mm diameter (for a .5mm or .020" overbore). Their modern, flat-top design produces excellent power and torque without causing excessive pinging.
Set includes pistons, wrist pins, and piston rings. Your existing liners will need to be bored out as per specifications included with pistons.
Installation Note: Head may need to be chamfered slightly. Always check piston-to-valve clearance when fitting new pistons. Actual compression ratio may vary depending on head thickness. Other modifications may be necessary.
