Alfa Romeo Lighted Dealership Sign 58"
This is an original Alfa Romeo outdoor dealership sign from the late '70s - early '80s time period. It was obtained from Alfa of Tacoma in 2018 but is believed to have originally been used at a dealership in Texas.
The sign is 58" overall with the lens at 55" wide. The lens in in great condition with no cracks or damage. It has a beautiful patina but could easily be polished to remove yellowing and brighten all colors and make it as-new. This can be done safely as the paint on these signs is applied to the inside of the lens, so the outside can be polished without removing any coloring.
It is a single-sided sign with a standard florescent tube lighting fixture inside. An extension cord will need to be wired into the fixture for usage. We believe it was hard wired when installed outside at the dealership. However we would strongly recommend the new owner consider upgrading the interior lighting to a modern LED fixture for years of trouble free use.
Sign will be shipped via truck freight in a wooden crate.
